Pre-wedding Wellness Experience for couples

Last Saturday, I was grateful to be part of the Singapore Heritage Fest for Wedding Series, with a wedding workshop celebrating love and tradition. I had the honor of hosting a Pre-wedding Aromatherapy Wellness Experience, providing couples a moment to pause and reconnect during the busy planning process.

Why Aromatherapy for Couples?

Planning a wedding can be magical, but let’s be honest – it can also be stressful. From timelines to guest lists, it’s easy to get caught up in logistics and forget the essence of what it’s all about: love and connection.

That’s where aromatherapy plays a powerful role. Through carefully selected essential oils, couples were guided on how scent can help calm anxious minds, reduce stress, and even foster deeper emotional bonding. They learned simple ways to incorporate aromatherapy into their daily routines – whether during a cozy evening wind-down or as part of a couples’ self-care ritual.

It was heartwarming to see many couples pause and smile as they inhaled soothing scents like Ylang Ylang, Lavender, Wild Orange, and Frankincense – each one carefully chosen for its ability to uplift, calm, and center the mind.

To deepen the experience, couples also worked together on a light-hearted relationship questionnaire, sparking meaningful conversations and helping them understand each other better. Alongside this activity, they had the chance to customize and craft their own roller blends – thoughtful keepsakes created for one another as they embark on their wedding planning journey. Blending scents while planning logistics might seem unexpected, but it brought a lovely sense of intention and calm into the process.

Grateful for the Helping Hands Behind the Scenes

This event wouldn’t have been as smooth or meaningful without the support of two dear friends who generously offered their time and energy. Thanks to their help, I didn’t have to manage everything on my own – which gave me more space to connect with participants and be fully present. They helped with setup, engaged with guests, and even captured precious moments through videos and photos. Their presence reminded me how important it is to have a village of support when doing what you love – and I’m so thankful for their kindness.

Heartfelt Gratitude

The event was hosted at a beautifully decorated TA community, where couples could also walk through a live wedding setup and gather practical planning insights from Rose and Revel. From visual inspiration to emotional well-being, the day covered it all.
